At World Safari, we believe in transparency—not just in how we build this brand, but in how we handle your data. This policy explains what information we collect and how we protect your digital footprint while you explore the wild with us.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://worldsafari.co. We are a “Build in Public” platform focused on Wealth, Wellness, and Travel. For inquiries regarding your data, you can reach us through our [Contact Page].
Information Collection & Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service. Their privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website (such as in community forums or comments), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
Convenience: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name and email in cookies so you don’t have to fill them in again. These last for one year.
Login Sessions: If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie determines if your browser accepts cookies (deleted when you close the browser). Upon login, we set cookies to save your info (2 days) and screen choices (1 year). “Remember Me” extends login to two weeks.
Publishing: If you edit or publish an article, a cookie (containing no personal data) indicates the post ID and expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos from YouTube, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited the other website directly. These sites may collect data, use cookies, and monitor your interaction if you are logged into their platform.
Who we share your data with
Comment Retention: Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to allow for automatic approval of follow-up comments.
Your Data Rights (GDPR / CCPA / 2026 State Laws)
Whether you are in the EU or under the 2026 privacy acts of Oregon, Virginia, or California, you have the following rights:
Access: You can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you.
Erasure: You can request that we delete any personal data we hold.
Exclusions: This does not include data we are legally obligated to keep for administrative, security, or legal purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We do not collect and sell your personal data to third parties.
